An Egyptian consortium led by EDAM Healthcare has signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Sugar and Integrated Industries Company (ESIIC) to develop, operate, and manage the medical centre of ESIIC.
The consortium includes KMS Healthcare, which specializes in developing, operating, and managing medical centres, and EDHP which supports the digital transformation of health care services provided to patients through software and applications.
This comes in line with the country’s plan for digital transformation and providing integrated health care to citizens.
This cooperation is the first Egyptian cooperation between the three companies that target improving the level of services provided by medical centers for the renaissance of health care in Egypt.
Ehab Kamel, CEO of EDAM, expressed his happiness with this strong alliance, which could lead to more cooperation during the coming period to provide distinguished health services to serve a large group of citizens in all sectors. This helps serve the Egyptian state’s strategy for digital transformation 2030. This cooperation is also considered a gateway to serve patients coming from the governorates of Upper Egypt in general, where hundreds of citizens flock daily to benefit from hospital services.
The medical complex of the Egyptian Sugar and Integrated Industries Company is located in Hawamdia on an area of 10 feddan and can accommodate 180 inpatients. Its services vary from outpatient clinics, analysis, radiology, intensive care and emergency, and it contains six operating rooms in addition to dialysis services.
EDAM adopts a modern approach to provide integrated smart medical care, which brings together health care professionals and providers around the needs of medical service recipients to ensure that individuals receive integrated care, and that the quality of healthcare services is improved. EDAM aims to reach more than 2.5 million beneficiaries with its distinguished healthcare services by the end of 2023, especially with the expansion plan the company adopts.
